This is a very good article. Best part: the comment Harris makes about how frightening it is to unit "confidence and ignorance" in the candidacy of Palin.

@Eccentrique - i know, it's like coming back from the dead. since graduating, i've been working in michigan's house of representatives, being a co-chair of the board for a non-profit, working at a bookstore with my kids on the weekends, and just being a mom with kids in school. the usual. how have you been?
@HPUPHD - i have another good article that talks about the psychology of voting, and how certainty is almost always a sign of ignorance. i promise to post it soon. you picked out an important piece in this article - confidence and ignorance is a dangerous combination, i just wish more people would see it for what it was.
@BugGirl416 - I'm a'ight. Not as busy as you are, I'm quite sure. Just doing my lil world music radio show one day a week, and waiting for the apocalypse, which I had hoped you were at least postponing.
